I'm Back, and I'm Writing Again

Well hello out there every one haha! I'm back, I'm here, and it feels good, too. Well, it's true, I'm trying to write again, but it's going to be difficult here and there as I'm attempting a science fiction story, with a mild romantic tone over it.
It's uncharted territory for me. I've never tried either type of genre, and I'm both scared and excited. Though, I admit I feel bad that there's a goal I'm going for in the end. This story, who's working title (for now), is called "Worlds Apart". All I'm going to say is the two main characters are a human female, and a humanoid alien male.
